Infigen Energy's US portfolio comprises interests in 18 individual wind farms across five wind regions with total installed capacity of 1,089MW. The average capacity factor across the portfolio is 37%.

The US wind industry experienced substantial growth in 2009 with a record 9,922MW of new wind energy capcity installed during the year. The US is the world's dominant wind energy producer, with 35,159MW of installed capacity (as at end of 2009).
