Management of Infigen Energy

As Responsible Entity of the Infigen Energy Trust ("IET"), Infigen Energy RE Limited ("IERL") is responsible for the management and operation of IET and will be responsible for the protection of Securityholders’ interests. 

Responsibility for corporate governance and overall strategy of the Infigen Energy group will rest with the Infigen Energy Board.

Miles George
Managing Director

Miles is the Managing Director of Infigen Energy, having previously been the Chief Executive Officer since 2007. Miles has over 15 years experience in the infrastructure and energy sectors, and in particular renewable energy development and investment.

Since 2000 Miles has been involved in the development and financing of wind energy projects in Australia - including a key role in the development of Infigen’s first wind farm at Lake Bonney in South Australia.

Miles jointly led the establishment of the business now known as Infigen in 2003 and the implementation of the Initial Public Offer and listing of the business on the ASX in 2005. Following listing he advised the business on wind farm investments in Australia and overseas. He was subsequently appointed as Chief Executive in 2007.

Miles holds degrees of Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Business Administration (Distinction) from the University of Melbourne.

Geoff Dutaillis
Chief Operating Officer

Geoff is the Chief Operating Officer of Infigen Energy with responsibility for the Generation and Development business units.

Geoff was a key member of the team that prepared the business now known as Infigen Energy for its Initial Public Offer in 2005 and was appointed as the COO in that year. In that role, Geoff has led Infigen’s asset management and operational activities in Australia, Europe and the USA as Infigen established itself as a leading renewable energy generation business.

Prior to joining Infigen, Geoff worked at Lend Lease for almost 19 years, including 7 years based in London establishing its European property development business. Geoff has extensive experience in the development and project management of major projects, having had leadership roles on a number of landmark developments, including Bluewater in the UK, at that time the largest retail and leisure complex in the UK, and Project Director for the Rouse Hill Regional Centre, a new 100 hectare community in north-west Sydney.

Geoff holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (Hons) with additional qualifications in management, property and finance.


Gerard_dover

Gerard Dover
Chief Financial Officer

Gerard has been the Chief Financial Officer of Infigen Energy since 2006. Between 1990 and 1996, Gerard worked with Price Waterhouse in the UK and Sydney. He then joined AstraZeneca in the UK holding a number of Finance roles before working on the spin off and IPO of Syngenta AG. As Capital Markets Manager, he worked in Syngenta’s Head Office in Switzerland on the arrangement of syndicated bank facilities and refinancing of these facilities through a series of capital markets transactions. He also had responsibility for credit ratings and worked in Investor Relations.

More recently, Gerard was CFO and Head of IT of Syngenta Crop Protection in Australasia. In this role he managed a number of change projects including SoX compliance; business reporting and balanced score card process as well as the implementation of SAP.

Gerard has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales since 1993 and a Member of Corporate Treasurers since 2003. He holds a Bachelors degree in Banking & Finance.

David Griffin
General Manager - Development

David is the General Manager of Development for Infigen Energy and was previously responsible for leading the greenfield development of Infigen's 89MW Alinta Wind Farm in WA and 140MW Capital Wind Farm in NSW.

David was a Major in the Australian Army where he served for 13 years prior to establishing his own company and initiating the development of these wind farms. David has extensive knowledge of all facets of wind farm development, strong knowledge of the Australian market and current and emerging wind turbine generator manufacturers.

David holds a Master of Arts (International Relations) from the Univeristy of New South Wales with additional qualifications in management.

Andrew_George

Andrew George
General Manager - Energy Markets

Andrew is the General Manager of Energy Markets for Infigen Energy. Andrew is responsible for the commercialisation of Infigen’s Australian assets and for growing Infigen’s role in the Australian energy market.

Prior to this, Andrew founded Amanzi Consulting in 2006 and consulted to various organisations within the energy sector in relation to operational, strategic and M&A matters.

Previously, Andrew held the position of General Manager, Energy Markets for Alinta Limited, overseeing its growth from a WA gas retailer into a gas and electricity market player in both WA and the eastern states. Andrew also played an integral role in Alinta’s M&A activity, including its acquisition of Duke Energy Australia in 2004 and its takeover bid for AGL in 2005-06.

Andrew is a Chartered Accountant and his 20 years of professional experience has also included a career with PricewaterhouseCoopers and energy market roles with Energex, QPTC/Enertrade and Santos Limited. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, post-graduate qualifications in Marketing from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Scott Taylor
General Manager - Generation

Scott Taylor has been appointed General Manager of Infigen’s Generation business unit. Infigen’s business in Australia is in the process of implementing a direct control strategy for operation, service & maintenance, and construction following similar successful initiatives undertaken in Infigen’s US business.

Scott currently manages Infigen’s US wind energy business and has previously been involved in a range of business transition, strategy development and risk management functions for Infigen since November 2006.

Previously employed as a Senior Executive for QR, Scott was responsible for managing the company’s health and safety, sustainability, security and emergency management, risk management, and compliance functions. Furthermore, Scott spent eight years in a variety of senior management roles with Tarong Energy, Energex and Comalco Smelting since 1996.

As graduate of both the Australian Defence Force Academy and the Royal Military College Duntroon, Scott’s career has also included strategic planning, policy formulation and various line management and logistic roles.

Scott is a Graduate and facilitator with the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Fellow of the Risk Management Institute of Australia and Industry Fellow of the University of Queensland (UQ) Business School. Scott holds a Bachelor Degree of Science (UNSW), and post graduate degrees in Information Systems (UC) and Business Administration (UQ).
